If you meet all the requirements, you will automatically obtain the Electronic Limited Stay Permit (e-ITAS) and the Re-Entry Permit upon your arrival at the Immigration Checkpoint. This means no immediate need for a separate visit to the Immigration Office—your stay permit is active immediately! (A physical ITAS card remains available upon request at the Immigration Office.)

To get started on your application for a future with your spouse, we require the following documents:

1. Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least six (6) months.

2. Proof of Financial Sufficiency: Evidence of living expenses equivalent to at least US$2,000.

3. Recent Photograph: A current color photograph.

4. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Your professional profile.

5. Travel Itinerary: Details of your planned entry.

6. Application from Indonesian Spouse: A formal application document from your husband or wife.

7. Proof of Marriage (The Core Document):

   • If married in Indonesia: Marriage book or certificate issued by the authorized ministry/institution.

   • If married outside Indonesia: Proof of reporting/registration at the Indonesian Mission or authorized Indonesian agency, and a marriage certificate translated into Bahasa Indonesia by a sworn translator (unless it is in English).

Important Information to Note

• Visa Validity: This visa must be utilized (you must enter Indonesia) within 90 days from the date of issue. (Please remember that this is different from your period of stay, which begins upon entry).

• Responsible Conduct: To ensure your stay is smooth and uninterrupted, you must maintain sufficient funds, adhere to all visa conditions and Indonesian laws, and show respect for local customs, culture, and wisdom.

• Commercial Activity: You are generally prohibited from selling goods or services. Working for compensation is prohibited unless it has been reported to Immigration via the multiple activity reporting process.
